Clive Brady

Clive started his DJ career in 1976 at the height of the disco boom in the UK, appearing at pubs and bars in South London and North Kent. By the early 80’s he had migrated to the nightclub scene, DJ’ing at clubs in Central and south London.

In 1985 he joined Radio Thamesmead, one of the first community stations in the UK, where he presented regular weekly shows before moving onto the booming pirate radio scene.

Clive was a regular presenter at the legendary london soul pirate station LWR 92.5 FM and is still listed today in their published DJ hall of fame.

TV work followed with on-screen appearances on Channel 4’s “The big breakfast” with Gabby Roslin and Mark Little, the channel 5 documentary series “ID” and as a supporting actor with Stephen Fry on the TV series “Kingdom”.

Clive has also been a professional presenter on UK commercial radio, including KLFM 96.7 FM in Norfolk, Fen Radio 107.5 FM Cambridgeshire and Star Radio Cambridge.

Other TV work included working on location with John Barrowman on the BBC series “Tonights the night”

Clive has also been resident DJ for 6 month summer seasons on the island of Cyprus.

Clive has worked at live events with many celebrities including comedian Roy Chubby Brown, Richard Branson, Veteran comedian Barry Cryer, Ex-SAS author of “Bravo Two Zero” Andy McNab and 80’s soul singer David Grant. He has also worked at royal events with both Prince Andrew and Princess Anne.
